Pune: Sakal Media Group, in association with Pune Central, is organising a Christmas event, 'Kids Idol 2017,' from December 22 to 25.
The auditions for the event will be organised at different places in the city. The Dance Auditions (Solo) and Model Hunt Auditions will be held at Pune City One Mall, Pimpri, on December 22 from 5 pm to 8 pm, and on December 23 at Pune Central Mall, Karve Road, from 5 pm to 8 pm.
On December 24, there will be Dance Auditions (solo) and Model Hunt: Finale at Pune Central Mall, Koregaon Park, from 5-8 pm. Lastly, on December 25, there will be Fancy Dress Finale from 4 pm to 6 pm at Pune Central Mall, University Road, and Grand Finale of Dance (Solo) will be conducted from 6 pm onwards.
The registration for the event will be held till December 21 at Pune Central, Karve Road, University Road, Pimpri, and Koregaon Park from 12 pm to 8 pm, and at Sakal Times Office (12 pm to 5 pm). The prize distribution will take place on December 25 at Pune Central Mall, University Road.

Rules and Regulations
- Total time for performance (Solo Dance), for auditions, as well as for finals, will be 1.5 to 2 minutes only.
- Age group - Nursery to Std X only (Carry age proof).
- Students shortlisted in each category at each venue will then perform for finals on December 25.
- No item song or songs with vulgar lyrics; lavani is allowed.
- Judges' decision will be final and cannot be questioned.
- Participants will have to get their own props, costumes, etc and music in form of CD (MP3) format or pen drives only. Songs on mobile phones are not allowed.
- Reporting time is half-an-hour prior to the competition.
