CR to run weekly special trains for holidays

PUNE: The Central Railway is all set to run two weekly special trains from Pune to Nagpur and Jaipur to clear the extra rush of the passengers during winter/Christmas holidays.

As per the information provided by the spokesperson of Pune railway division Manoj Jhawar, “The railway will run two weekly special trains from Pune to Nagpur and Jaipur. As hundreds of passengers travel in winter, these trains will be made available from December 20.”

Train number 01287 weekly special will leave Pune at 8.30 pm on December 20, 27 and January 3, 2020, every Friday and arrive in Nagpur at 2.30 pm on the next day. Similarly, train number 01288 weekly special will leave Nagpur at 4 pm on December 22, 29 & January 5, 2020, every Sunday and arrive in Pune at 10.15 am on the next day.

The train will halt at Ahmednagar, Belapur, Manmad, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera, Dhamangaon and Wardha. The train will have a composition of three AC 3 tier, 14 sleeper class and 6 general second class compartments.

Train number 01455 weekly special will leave Pune at 7.50 pm on December 24, 31 and January 7, 2020, every Tuesday and reach Jaipur at 8.25 pm on the next day. Similarly, train number 01456 weekly special will leave Jaipur at 9.55 pm on December 25, January 1 and 8, 2020, every Wednesday and arrive in Pune at 9.25 pm on the next day.

The train will halt at Lonavla, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ratlam, Jaora, Mandasor, Nimach, Nimbahera, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara, Bijainagar, Ajmer Jn, Kishangarh and Phulera Jn. 

This will have a composition of three AC 3 tier, 14 sleeper class and 6 general second class compartments.
