Pune: Retailware, a tech-based company of Pune, has launched KiranaQ, a free solution for groceries to reduce overcrowding at Kirana stores. Ajit Thadhani, CEO of Retailware Softech Pvt Ltd, informed that KiranaQ solution is free for both Kirana stores and consumers.

Consumers have to just place their order on www.kiranaq.com which will be sent to the grocers on WhatsApp, which will be very convenient for them. Once their order is ready, the grocer will just click on the link of the relevant order, enter the amount to be paid, and message will be sent to the customer by WhatsApp.

He further mentioned that the Kirana stores require only one-time registration after which they will get an OTP and start this system. At a time when social distancing is of paramount importance, this system will help prevent overcrowding that we are currently witnessing outside grocery stores.

Thadhani added that currently, 73 Kirana stores from over 15 cities have registered with them.
