"A wellness team is working to prevent Covid-19 cases in the police department. This team communicates frequently with Covid-19 affected police personnel and boosts their morale. If the number of police personnel affected by Covid-19 increases in future, then we would start a separate COVID Care Centre for the department."

Pune: The city police department is mulling over the option of setting up a dedicated COVID Care Centre if the contagion spreads further in the department. Presently, total 247 police personnel have tested positive for CVOID-19 and out of them, 177 have recovered. Still 49 police personnel are undergoing treatment in the city and three deaths have been reported so far.
