Coronavirus: Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad report 1,781 and 1048 positive cases respectively

An increase of 1,781 patients has been reported. Therefore, the total number of patients has reached 90,871. Until now in Pune city, the death toll has reached 2,168.
 

Pune: After Mumbai, Pune city has become the hotspot of Coronavirus pandemic in the Maharashtra state. With the increase in tests in the city over the last few days, the number of corona patients is also increasing every day. Forty patients have died in the city by Friday night. 

An increase of 1,781 patients has been reported. Therefore, the total number of patients has reached 90,871. Until now in Pune city, the death toll has reached 2,168.

A total of 1,578 patients undergoing treatment for coronavirus pandemic have been discharged during the day. So far, the number of patients returning home after overcoming Corona has reached 73,527. This information has been given by the health department of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

1048 patients in Pimpri Chinchwad

In Pune's twin city of Pimpri-Chinchwad area as well as under the jurisdiction of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 1,048 patients were reported COVid positive om Friday and seven people have died of COVID-19.  

246 people are also reported sent home from quarantine centres. 

The total number of COVID-19 affected patients in the Pimpri-Chinchwad has now reached 46,516. Of these 32,109 people have become tax-free. 5,644 patients are undergoing treatment in the various corporation hospital, informed the health department of the corporation.
