Coronavirus Maharashtra: Inter-district movement only for emergencies

PUNE: Following the extension of the coronavirus lockdown period in Maharashtra till April 30, the officials of the district administration on Sunday shared contact details of authorities for people in need of inter-district movement in case of emergency.

Officials said that emergency cases include the demise of some person or a serious medical condition. Such requests can be facilitated through punecitypolice.grievance@gmail.com, and the permissions are being given by the DCP (Crime).

People can post their queries at 8975953100, 8975283100 for further guidance.

Similarly, there is no need for passes for inter-district movement of essential commodities/services and medical-related goods and services.

The officials also informed that people who have been issued digital passes do not need to reapply for a pass as the authorities have extended the validity of such passes.

Similarly, if companies get permission to operate from the joint director of industries, digital passes will be issued to the employees for their movement in the city.

For companies outside Pune, whose employees are living in Pune city, a permission letter from the concerned authority and a copy of permission by local police (PCMC/Rural) are enough. There will be no insistence on digital passes for them.
