“Several young candidates enrol for MPSC with an intention to serve the people. However, they are stuck between competitive exams. Therefore, to make the students aware about the present situation and provide proper counselling for their future attempts, this festival will prove beneficial,” said Rohit Pawar

PUNE: While every year, a large number of students enrol for Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC), very few get selected and most are left with very few employment options. To address this problem, Surjan Foundation and MPSC students’ rights have organised a competitive exam festival for the students and parents for providing guidance.

The candidates will receive guidance regarding MPSC-- its present and future scenario.

Aspirants will be able to interact with the former president of MPSC, administrative officers, police officers, educationists, entrepreneurs and others who will guide them about career opportunities.

“Several young candidates enrol for MPSC with an intention to serve the people. However, they are stuck between competitive exams. Therefore, to make the students aware about the present situation and provide proper counselling for their future attempts, this festival will prove beneficial,” said Rohit Pawar, President of Surjan Foundation.

The candidates will also be able to avail books on different competitive exams which will be displayed at different stalls in the fest. From coaching classes for competitive exams to online portals for study material, business guidance, book publications will be available in this event.

The organisation has also developed an app called ‘Competitive Aspirants Navigator’ where students can feed their problems and according to the location they will directly reach to MPSC and state officials, said Mahesh Bade of MPSC Students rights.
