It has been two years since the Pimpri Chinchwad was declared as an industrial city. During this period, Pimpri got two Commissioners of Police. No one was able to complete their term fully.

Pimpri: With the city of the Pimpri-Chinchwad getting the dominating officers, the expectations of the citizens have increased. The new commissionerate office that has been set up in Pune's twin city. PCMC police office which is yet to be stabilised will face internal factionalism, inadequate machinery, work stress, usury and political interference. However, the newly-appointed Commissioner of Police, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Krishna Prakash, has given a warning stating, "As long as I am in the city, I will not tolerate illegal traders and the white-collar criminals should close down their businesses or be prepared to face action. Check out my history and my working style."

It has been two years since the Pimpri Chinchwad was declared as an industrial city. During this period, Pimpri got two Commissioners of Police. No one was able to complete their term fully. Also, even after the creation of this Commissionerate of Police, the crime rate in the city is still high. However, the expectations of the Pimpri city resident have increased after the newly appointed and the third commissioner, known as the aggressive and domineering officer IPS Krishna Prakash.

Challenges to the newly appointed Commissioner of Police

The Pimpri Chinchwad Commissioner of Police Krishna Prakash will be facing a big challenge to curb illegal trades, burglary, vehicle vandalism and theft, the rising graph of cyber-crime, land mafia, murder, assault, ransom etc.

IPS Krishna Prakash said, "We will have to work shoulder to shoulder to study the developments in the city and show our working methods. The commissioner will also have to take care of the residents as well as notorious people to maintain law and order in society."
