BJP’s Assembly Poll Campaign Takes Off In Western Maharashtra

Pune; The BJP started its State Assembly poll campaign on Monday.  During a rally in Pune, BJP Working President JP Nadda appealed to party workers to start working to get victory in the State Assembly poll in Maharashtra.

Western Maharashtra unit of the BJP organised Vijay Sankalp rally at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch. All senior leaders of BJP of western Maharashtra were present at the rally except recently joined former NCP leader Udyanraje Bhosale and State BJP Unit President Chandrakant Patil.

Addressing party workers, Nadda said, “The image of the Maharashtra was tarnished due to corrupt practices by the previous rulers. Under the BJP regime, it has changed. Earlier, parties could not give a stable government. The chief minister’s post was a musical chair.  Everybody was fighting for the key post. But BJP Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis completed five years’ tenure.”

“Most of the leaders in opposition are either in jail or on bail. BJP is the only party in the country with a democratic structure. Other parties are family parties. Members of some families run those political organisations,” he added.

He said, “Even in the days of floods and natural calamity, the members of the party did not stop. Now, party workers should work hard and inform people about BJP’s achievements in the last five years. We have done a lot of good works and taken decisions for betterment of people.”
