Last month, Bapat had declared that there will be no additional water cut in the city during review meeting to discuss different development work of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). During his meeting, Bapat instructed the civic body’s Water Supply Department not to enforce further water cut. However, the members of opposition targeted BJP and held Bapat responsible for the existing water crisis in the city.
