PUNE: Among the deceased in the hoarding fall accident, Shivaji Pardeshi, an autorickshaw driver was returning from Alandi along with his family after performing the last rites of his wife when the hoarding fell on his autorickshaw.
Shivaji’s wife Kirti passed away on Thursday. As per Pardeshi’s family members, Shivaji took his mother, daughter and son to Alandi to perform the last rites of his wife. Shivaji’s daughter Samruddhi (16), mother and son Devanshu (4) were saved and were under treatment.
“Shivaji was worried about his son and daughter after his wife passed away. Now the situation has turned more difficult for his family,” said a family member. Friends of deceased Shyamrao Dhotre who was working for a private company and was on a two-wheeler when the incident took place, reached Sassoon General Hospital. “The hoarding fell on his head which led to his death,” said Shyam’s friend.
