Amazon’s goods worth Rs 51 lakh stolen from Lohegaon airport

Pune:  An unidentified person has been booked for allegedly stealing goods worth Rs 51.11 lakh belonging to Amazon, an online retailer, from the Pune airport premises. Pranav Borale (33), a manager with the company, has lodged a complaint with the Vimantal police station in this regard. 

According to the police, the incident took place between April and October 2017. The company had sent various items including mobile phones from various locations to Pune for urgent delivery to customers. However, they were stolen. After an internal enquiry, the company registered a complaint with the Pune police and now the case is being investigated by the Crime Branch.
