Ajit Pawar: Take stern action against those who are into illegal business

Baramati: Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar on Saturday has directed the police to take strict action against illegal traders who are doing illegal business and are violating the law and order in the taluka including Baramati city.

During the visit to Baramati, Ajit Pawar inspected the work of the proposed service road from Baramati city to Malegaon, Baramati Municipal Council.

After the inspection tour, a review meeting was held at Vidya Pratishthan's VIT Hall under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

On this occasion, Ajit Pawar said, "The development work should be of quality and there will be no compromise. While carrying out development works, beautification of roads, planting of trees along the service roads should be given close attention. The police department should take stern action against those involved in illegal sand extraction and illegal trade. All the departments to work in coordination to prevent the spread of the coronavirus."

Dadasaheb Kamble, Tehsildar Vijay Patil, Group Development Officer Rahul Kalbhor, Municipal Council Chief Kiranraj Yadav, Public Works Department Deputy Engineer Vishwas Ohol, Municipal Group Leader Sachin Satav, Senior Councilor Kiran Gujar, Zilla Parishad Former Chairman Sambhaji Holkar and other officials were present at the meeting.
