Air Marshal Shera inaugurates Electro-Optics Lab at 9 BRD

The Air Marshal interacted with Air Warriors and defence civilians of the depot. He shared his mantra of ‘ownership, accountability and passion’ with them. 

PUNE: Air Marshal RKS Shera, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force, during his visit to 9 Base Repair Depot, Viman Nagar, inaugurated a state-of-art Electro-Optics lab.

It was his first visit after taking over as AOC-in-C of Maintenance Command on February 1 this year. 

The AOC-in-C was introduced to key personnel of the depot. He was given a brief about the role, production tasks and achievements of the depot.  He visited production departments of the Depot during his visit on September 16 and 17.

The Air Marshal interacted with Air Warriors and defence civilians of the depot. He shared his mantra of ‘ownership, accountability and passion’ with them. 

Jaspreet Shera, President, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (R), Headquarter Maintenance Command, inaugurated ‘Go Green’ initiative of AF School at 9 BRD by planting a sapling. The school will be planting more than 1,000 plants, which will be fed through drip irrigation to conserve water.

- He advised all to take ownership of the work assigned to them and execute it with passion. He lauded the efforts of this depot on successful completion of vital projects.
