Admissions for diploma in engg, pharmacy to begin

Pune: The admission procedures for diploma courses in engineering and pharmacy will begin from June 21. Those who get admission in the college according to their first preference, will have to compulsorily seek admission in that college only or they will be out of the admission procedure completely, said officials of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).

In case, a student gets the second preferred college, then he/she can freeze the option and again fill the form in the second round of admission procedure to choose a college of their choice, added DTE official.

“There are categories like freeze, slide and float. Under freeze category, candidates will have to mandatory take admission in the first preferred college.
