Admission procedure starts for health science courses

PUNE: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) has announced the admission process for health science courses which include MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTh, BSc in Nursing and others. The process started from June 7 and will continue till June 17.

The results of National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate (UG) medical and dental admissions were announced on Monday.

The academic session for health science courses will begin from August 1. The application forms are available on www.mahacet.org or www.dmer.org website.

Centres for document verification
Centres for document verification are at Grant Government Medical College, Byculla and RA Podar Ayurvedic College, Worli in Mumbai; BJ Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune; Government Medical College, Hanuman Nagar and Government Ayurvedic College, Raje Raghuji Nagar in Nagpur; Government Medical College, Ghati Hospital in Aurangabad; Government Ayurvedic College, Vazirabad in Nanded; Government Ayurvedic College, Tuljapur Road in Osmanabad.

For NRI candidates, document verification procedure will be conducted at Grant Government Medical College, Byculla in Mumbai.
