Pune: Accord SDH Hospital, one of the leading multispecial Multispecialty Hospital in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) region recently installed an Uro-Laser and a Neuro Microscope equipment at the hospital.
These state-of-the-art equipments will help the hospital to upgrade its tertiary care offerings.
Uro-Laser is used for various urological procedures, especially fragmentation of hard, fiber small tightly fitted stones and bladder tumours. It can be used with flexible urethroscopy for kidney stones.
The Carl Zeiss Neuro microscope, popularly named as neuro-microscope, is extremely accurate and used to access the critical areas of the human brain especially in diseases of small vessels and nerves and prevents the brain from damage during surgery.
The new microscopes were inaugurated at the hands of Chief Guest Sanjay Lele, Chairman of Janata Sahakari Bank, and Jagdish Kadam, Vice Chairman, Janata Sahakari Bank, and Dr Deepak Kirpekar, Urosurgeon, in the presence of Vidyadhar Sarfare, Chairman, Accord SDH Hospital, and Dr Deepali Chinchole, IVF Expert and Managing Director of Accord SDH Hospital.
Speaking on the occasion, Lele said the hospital offers patient centric care with a courteous staff.
