AAI provides Sassoon with equipment worth Rs 60 lakh

PUNE: Being a socially responsible enterprise, Airports Authority of India (AAI) is committed to serving society and making efforts to enhance the quality of life of the people from the underprivileged sections of the society. 

The AAI has continuously been exploring opportunities to serve society and gradually increase its expenditure on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and welfare activities. For their various CSR and welfare activities, the AAI of Pune, during FY 2018-19, gave Rs 60 lakh worth of hospital equipment to Sassoon General Hospital.

“During the financial year 2018-19, CSR activities were taken up and keeping the health sector in mind. Sassoon General Hospital was provided with hospital equipment and accessories amounting Rs 60 lakh to serve the patients in a better way,” said Pune Airport Director Ajay Kumar.

The Pune airport authority has provided the hospital with beds with castors, heavy helium mattresses, stretchers on the trolley, saline stands, drawers, cabinets and crash carts.

- Ayush Fowler bed with castors  - 75 nos.
- 4 section 100mm Heavy Helium Mattress  - 75 nos.
- Stretcher on Trolley - 30 Nos.
- SS Saline Stand 5 castors - 50 nos.
- Aptis locker with two drawer & cabinet - 75 nos.
- Crash Cart - 15 nos.
