Pune: The 36th National Defence Academy (NDA) course passed out from the academy on June 7, 1969, will be celebrating its golden jubilee reunion from June 15 to 17 in the premises of NDA.
More than 100 former-NDA officers along with their spouses will be attending this ceremony.
A press conference on the reunion event was held on Tuesday, which was addressed by coordinators Brig (Retd) Ajit Apte and Col (Retd) Sudhir Naphad, both from the same course.
This course has produced one Chief of Army Staff Gen VK Singh who is also the MOS for External Affairs and Overseas Indian Affairs, is slated to grace this occasion with his wife.
The veterans of this course will assemble at the NDA on June 15 for a golden jubilee dinner, however, the main function will be on June 16 which will start by paying homage to the martyrs at the ‘hut of remembrance’ which will be followed by an interaction with former Chief of Army Gen VK Singh.
