2,408 students allotted colleges in first round

Pune: As many as 2,408 students have been allotted colleges out of  4,878 applications across Science and Commerce stream in the first round of Bifocal admissions which ended on Friday.

A total of  8,495 seats across Science and Commerce streams are available in Bifocal admissions. 

1,197 candidates confirmed their admissions, while 1,201 did not report at all. Eight admissions were cancelled on the second day, whereas two admissions were denied.

The merit list was published on the official website of Common Admission Process at Pune division ie https://pune.11thadmission.net/ at 11 am on Thursday.

“It should be noted the Std X seat numbers of students have been blocked in the system, therefore students should not buy another information brochure and try to use their seat numbers again to fill forms for other streams,” said Deputy Director of Education, Pune Division, Minakshi Raut.

Second round of form filling
Deputy Director of Education, Pune Division officials said those students who have received colleges as per their first preference will have to compulsorily take admission in the given colleges otherwise they will be banned from rest of the admission process including general admission procedure. In case any student cancels his/her admission after freezing the college will be ineligible to seek admissions further. Those who have received colleges as per their second to tenth preference will get a chance to reapply in second round. 

Those students who have filled the first part of the registration form but are yet to fill the second part, can visit their nearest counselling centre for guidance.

IMPORTANT DATES
- List of vacancies in respective colleges to be declared: June 23
- Second round application: June 23-25 (excluding Sunday) from 11am to 5pm. 
- Second merit list to be declared: June 28 
- Students of second round can take admissions: June 28-29 between 11 am to 5pm.
