‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ observed by airport CISF

Pune: The Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) deputed at Pune airport observed ‘Swachhata Pakhwada’ from December 1 to 15. During this period, the personnel carried out various cleanliness drives to create awareness among the peoples regarding the importance of cleanliness and thus tried to motivate the society to follow the cleanliness in the public premises as well as in their homes and around the residential complexes. 

CISF personnel carried out massive cleanliness drives in Lohegaon village area, Zila Parishad school, government hospital, religious places and other areas. During this drive, CISF personal also conducted cleanliness drive in their own residential premises. Essay and painting competitions were also conducted for the wards of CISF personnel so that they can also be aware of the cause and educate others also in their school and colleges.

SK  Bajpai, Deputy Commandant, CISF, told, “Such drive is a motivation to society to participate in cleanliness drive and to make our society clean and green. These drives on different aspects of social cause and services will be observed in future also by the CISF personnel of Pune airport as a part of their responsibility to serve the nation in every way.”
