PUNE: Pankaja Munde openly expressed disappointment with BJP leaders without naming them and held them responsible for her defeat in the State Assembly polls. Some of her party leaders have reacted to her outburst.
Some senior BJP leaders from the city reacted too. Member of Parliament (MP) Sanjay Kakade criticised Munde. Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Parvati constituency and BJP City Unit President Madhuri Misal condemned Kakade for his reaction on Friday.
Questioning Munde’s contribution to BJP, Kakade asked what she had done for the party in the past five years. Later, Misal, who is close to Pankaja Munde, held a press conference and condemned Kakade. She said, “It is Kakade’s personal opinion and has nothing to do with the party. But some people are damaging the party’s image and causing rift among party leaders. They are misleading the party.”
