Sharad Ponkshe said, “This award has renewed my will to live. Deshpande’s literature has always inspired me to be optimistic about life, and I think that is the reason I could face cancer with a smile on my face.”

PUNE: “Although I never got a chance to work with PuLa, I learnt a lot from him through his writings. I always tried to acquire his art of creating personalities through his writings in my acting,” said renowned veteran Marathi actor Ashok Saraf.

In future, I will continue to spread his thouhgts through at least 4,000-5,000 more speeches.”
