Over 160 home projects for Punekars at Sakal Vastu Expo

PUNE: After Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MAHARERA) was enforced, Sakal Vastu, organised by Sakal Media Group, has brought the first property exhibition for prospective home buyers to make their dreams come true in the city.

The two-day property expo was inaugurated by Municipal Commissioner Kunal Kumar in the presence of Assitant General Manager of State Bank of India (SBI), Gadadhar Das, Executive Editor Nandkumar Sutar and General Manager of Sakal Media Group Shailesh Patil on Saturday.

The expo is a one-stop property dealing centre for Pune home buyers, which displays around 28 stalls that comprise over 160 projects from in and around Pune. The projects, ranging from budget homes to luxurious homes in several areas of Pune like Balewadi, Ambegaon, Sinhagad Road, Bavdhan, Talegaon, Baner, Hinjawadi, Hadapsar, Aundh and many other places are available here.

Speaking on the advantages of the expo, Kumar said, “Roti, Kapda, Makan are the three essential needs of a common man. This exhibition gives access to various properties available across the city under one roof. Once, one of prime ministers of Singapore had a vision, that every citizen must own a home one day. Such a vision is difficult to establish in India, considering the population of our country. Many stay in rented houses, hostels, slum areas etc, for them, buying a house is like a dream. Sakal Vastu allows you to gain information on the current situation of property in the city.”

Das said, “The market profit has been hit by the implementation of demonetisation, RERA and Goods and Services Tax (GST) in the last few months. People have also been reluctant to buy property because of it. This expo will be a relief to them. Also, SBI has several home loan plans which are customer-friendly, which gives flexibility to people to buy property.”
