Kids Idol 2018 concludes with a bang

PUNE: With a tremendous response from children and parents alike, Sakal Young Buzz recently held the finale of the Kids Idol 2018.

Apeksha Londhe won a cycle on behalf of the sponsor Cheesiano Foods India Pvt Ltd for performing the best across all categories.

The programme was held at Abhiruchi Mall and Multiplex, Sinhagad Road, on the occasion of Christmas.

According to their age groups, the children performed several dance forms including Jazz, Hip Hop, Classical, Contemporary, etc. A total of 21 winners were announced in dance competition across groups, and 15 in the Fancy Dress competition.

Abhiruchi Mall and Multiplex, Sanskriti National School, Cheesiano Foods India, were the event sponsors. for the event, while CM International School, Balewadi, Novel International School, Chinchwad, and Clara Global School, BT Kawade Road, were the audition venue sponsors.

The event is very interesting, and the children really enjoyed. Usually, Sinhagad Road is not a very integral part of such events taking place in the city. Looking at the fabulous response received by this event, Sakal should focus on organising more events in this area as well.
- Yashodhan Bhide, Owner, Abhiruchi Mall and Multiplex, Sinhagad Road

Kids Idol 2018 was a great platform for children coming from different areas to showcase their talents. It was encouraging for them to come on stage and perform. It was a great initiative, and we will support such events by Sakal even in future.
- Sameer Sheik, Founder and Principal, Sanskriti National School

The new generation has a variety of talents to present in front of the world. It was refreshing and surprising to see that each of the participants at the event had something unique to showcase. Cheesiano will always be interested to collaborate with Sakal to encourage such talent in the future.
- Sachin Ranjan Tilve, Director, Cheesiano foods India Pvt Ltd

It’s one of the most wonderful initiatives by Sakal where they try to provide a platform for children, even those as young as three years old. The competition was very children-friendly, the participation process easy, and venues accessible, which made it convenient for the parents. We would like to associate with Sakal, and be venue partners for more such events that help children explore their talents.
- Dr Rupali Dhamdhere, Principal, CM International School, Balewadi

Kids Idol was one of the best competitions conducted by Sakal. It was amazing to see students rocking on the stage. This competition boosted the confidence of children. We could see a lot of ideas and creativity during the fancy dress event. Almost all the dance forms were presented by the kids. Thanks, Sakal team for giving exposure to the young talents.
- Dr Kanchan Deshpande, Principal, Novel International School, Chinchwad

Dance is a language in itself, it speaks a lot about your mood, your emotions, and your personality. It was an honour to witness the Kids Idol 2018 auditions. I thank Sakal for providing such a wonderful platform for kids to showcase their talent and wish to connect with Sakal for many more such activities for our students.
- Sarika Babar, Clara Global School, BT Kawade Road
