Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan admitted to hospital in Delhi

Ram Vilas Paswan is admitted to Delhi based Fortis Escorts Heart Institute with congestion in lungs and acute kidney failure

Ram Vilas Paswan, Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution is admitted to Delhi based Fortis Escorts Heart Institute with congestion in lungs and acute kidney failure. 

According to media reports, the 74-year-old was admitted to the Delhi based hospital. According to the sources, the hospital has stated his condition stable. The Union Minister has pre-existing heart conditions and also has gone under heart surgery in 2017.

Paswan is eight-time Lok Sabha member, current Rajya Sabha MP and the President of Lok Janshakti Party. His son Chirag Paswan is an actor-turned-politician and is now Lok Sabha leader.
