Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s former assistant Ankit Acharya recently commented on the actor’s mysterious death, calling it a murder, not a suicide. Ankit worked with Sushant from July 2017 to August 2019 and shared his understanding of the sudden demise.
Taking the note of Sushant’s dead body photo that went viral on social media sites after the actor passed away, Ankit claimed that the O mark on Sushant's neck appeared only because he was strangled to death. According to him, had the 34-year-old actor hung himself, then his 'eyes would have protruded, the tongue would have come out' and there would have been a 'U mark around his neck.' "None of it was there on Sushant bhaiya's body. So, it's definitely a case of murder", Ankit said.
In an interaction with Pinkvilla, Ankit put forward his scepticism and said the murder(s) might have used his dog, Fudge’s belt to strangle him.
"I can also tell you what the mark on his next is off. It's his pet dog Fudge's belt. Uss belt ki nishaani hai woh. I still have the pictures (of his dead body) and I still investigate the pics and feel this. The culprits used Sushant's pet dog Fudge's belt to strangulate him to death," he said. “When someone strangles you… it’s always in O shape. In Sushant’s case, it is an O shaped mark.”
“I am very happy with the case being transferred to CBI. I want culprits to be hanged to death,” he added. Accepting the Bihar government’s recommendation, the Supreme Court recently ordered a CBI investigation.
Ankit, in an interview with Times Now, commented on Sushant’s diary and how it caught the light after it was discovered that some pages from it have been torn apart. Ankit harked back to police carrying Sushant’s diary and medicine on 14th June. Sushant would pen down his schedule for the next few days in that diary, including meetings, shoots and even his personal thoughts.
Sushant Singh Rajput died on 14th June. Since the mysterious death, several theories have been channelled. Allegations went toward Nepotism, Bollywood mafias and Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. With each passing day, the case keeps becoming blurrier.
