Pranab Mukherjee’s health continue to remain unchanged; vital parameters stable

The condition of former President Pranab Mukherjee remained unchanged on Tuesday

The condition of former President Pranab Mukherjee remained unchanged on Tuesday, Army Research and Referral Hospital in Delhi said.

The medical bulletin of the hospital reads, “There is no change in the medical condition of Hon’ble Shri Pranab Mukherjee since yesterday. He continues to be on ventilator support and his vital parameters are stable.”

Doctors attending to the former President has already stated that he is being treated for a respiratory infection. The vital parameters are stable and he continues to be on ventilator support, the hospital had said on Monday.

The 84-year-old was admitted to the hospital in Delhi cantonment on August 10 where he was operated for removal of a clot in the brain. The 13th President of India had also tested positive for the novel coronavirus at the time of his admission. He later established a respiratory infection.
