PM Narendra Modi invites people to suggest idea for ‘Mann ki Baat’

On Sunday Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited people's suggestions for his monthly radio address 'Mann ki Baat' scheduled for 28 June.

"This month’s #MannKiBaat will take place on the 28th. Though 2 weeks away, please keep the ideas and inputs coming! It’ll enable me to go through a maximum number of comments and phone calls. Am sure you’ll have much to say, on fighting COVID-19 and topics in addition to that." the Prime Minister said in his tweet.

He has also shared a number that people can record the message or write their suggestion using the NaMo app and other forums such as MyGov.

"Your ideas have always been the strength of #MannKiBaat, making it a vibrant platform that showcases the strengths of 130 crore Indians! Record your message: Dial 1800-11-7800 Write on: NaMo App. MyGov Open Forum," his tweet said.

In his last address in 'Mann ki Baat' on May 31, PM Modi had urged people not to lower their guard against the coronavirus pandemic and adhere to social distancing protocols, wearing masks and washing their hands.

The message of the PM came a day after a phased exit from the lockdown imposed since March 25 was announced by the Government.

In reference to India's fight against the coronavirus pandemic, the PM said the country has been able to contain the spread of infection with its diverse challenges and population, and the death toll is comparatively lower.

The radio program over the past few months has focused primarily on India's fight against coronavirus, health warrior experiences, and how people have responded to the pandemic so far.
