New Delhi: The Centre on Friday expelled Special Protection Group (SPG) cover of Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi, her son Rahul Gandhi and daughter Priyanka Vadra.
They will currently be given 'Z plus' security cover by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
The government's decision has been passed to the Gandhi family.
The Special Protection Group security will be withdrawn from their New Delhi residence after the Central Reserve Police Force takes over the responsibility, a Mome Ministry official said.
