The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results for Class 12 board exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results for Class 12 board exams on Monday, said Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal. CBSE had earlier told the Supreme Court that the marks of the pupils will be out by July 15. Now, students can check their marks online from the official website of CBSE: http://cbseresults.nic.in/

Taking into account the coronavirus situation, the board has declared CBSE 12th Results 2020 online via its official website. Also, the Board has made an obvious plan not to release the CBSE 12th Toppers List 2020 or Merit List, as the result is being announced during the tough times of the novel infection.

The CBSE Class 12 Result 2020 has been accumulated on the base of the new assessment system declared by the board earlier and thus, the board has made the decision not to publish toppers list for this year.

Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has also declared the announcement of Class 12 Results of CBSE Board. In his tweet, he congratulated students and their parents for their performance in the exams.

CBSE has stated that Class 12 results of 400 students could not be calculated as per decided assessment system and thus will be declared later by CBSE. Also, once again girls have outranked boys in CBSE class 12 exams, record 5.96 pc higher pass percentage than boys.

MARKSHEET THROUGH DIGILOCKER

CBSE also gives the passing certificate and mark sheet via DigiLocker. It is a leading initiative of Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY) under Digital India programme and it objects at ‘Digital Empowerment’ of people by delivering access to authentic digital documents to citizen’s document wallet.

DigiLocker in a partnership with CBSE in 2019 has decided to provide digital certificates to students.

Students get their DigiLocker username through SMS on the mobile number with CBSE. Those pupils who did not get the text message with credentials or else do not have admission to the mobile number registered with CBSE can still get the digital certificates by installing and signing up on DigiLocker.
