Saam TV now number 1 news channel in Maharashtra

Pune: Sakal Media Group’s news channel Saam TV has once again emerged as number one amongst all Marathi news channels.

According to the BARC (Broadcast Audience Research Council India) ratings for Week 27, Saam TV has topped the chart in the category of Marathi news channels. Saam has left all other prominent news channels including ABP Majha, Zee 24 Taas, TV9 Marathi and IBN with 67,087 impressions, as per the statistics from BARC.

With over 6.7 crore viewers, Saam sits atop the table because the news broadcast by the channel has created its own space in Maharashtra from urban to rural viewers and is popular amongst all age groups.

Programmes such as Viral Satya, Top 50, Spotlight, Mega Prime Time, Sarkarnama 360, Maharashtra Express, What’s Special Today and 36 Districts 36 Reporters have been popular among the viewers. Mumbai, along with its suburb as well as rural viewers, has given the top priority to Saam TV.
