Maharashtra State Board SSC Class 10 result declared

Pune:  Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune declared the state SSC Class 10 board examination result on Tuesday. While the state recorded a passing percentage of 88.74, Pune division (Pune, Solapur and Ahmednagar) achieved 91.95 per cent result this year. 

In a yet another result, girls have outdone boys, as the passing percentage among boys in the state is 86.51, while that of the girls is 91.46. The physically challenged students have achieved 85.72 per cent passing. 

48,470 students out of 16,44,016 passed with more than 90 per cent marks. 

This year, upto 25 grace marks were alotted to students for excelling in classical arts, folk arts, and fine arts, and 81,730 students benefited because of these grace marks. Also, 193 students received 100 per cent of total marks due to the addition of grace marks to their total. Grace marks for sports were given to 3,903 students in the state.

As far the schools are concerned, 3676 schools in the state, and 737 in Pune division secured 100 per cent result. Pune district has achieved a passing percentage of 92.74.

Students will be given their marksheets at their respective schools on June 24. The supplementary examination for those who have failed will be held from July 18 onwards.
