Maharashtra: 18 cops to get Union Home Minister medal

18 police personal from Maharashtra state police department to get Union Home Minister's Medals for "Excellence in Police Training."

The Central Government's Home ministry Department recently announced the medal for Excellence in Police Training across the state in India.

These awards are for the police personal who are deployed in service at the various academic training centre of the Police department as well as have rendered their teaching skills for buddy policemen.

From Maharashtra state, as many as 18 police personal will be getting such award including the two police from the wireless department, one from the state Criminal Investigation Department while three from Pune Police.

From wireless police department, police sub-inspector Mahendra Kore and assistance sub-inspector Vivekananda Joshi will be honoured while from Pune CID department hawaldar Anil Salunke will be also getting such award.

While others who will be receiving the awards are police inspector Parag Jadhav, assistant police inspector Rajendra Thakare (Maharashtra Police Academy, Nashik) police inspector Chandrakant Gundage (police Training centre, Nanvij) assistant police inspector Vaibhav Gaikwad, assistant commissioner of police Dhananjay Kumar Kadam, police sub-inspector Deepak Lonkar from police training centre Khandala. Police inspector Shahsikant Patil, Dinesh Goriwale from Marol, Mumbai. API Balaji Dihole, PSI Mahendra Sawardekar Force one Mumbai. API Yuvraj Taile, police naik Nagnath Jamkharche -Police Training Centre Solapur. Police hawaldar Namdeo Misal, Police hawaldar Ismail Shaikh -Police Training Centre Jalna. Vinod Dharaskar -Police Training Center Akola.
