431 vacancies in State govt jobs

Pune: Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has again increased the number of seats by seven in land records deputy superintendent (Group-B) making it a total of 431 seats in 17 categories.

Earlier this month, MPSC had increased about 82 seats in 11 categories from 342 seats to 424 seats. Now on Friday, MPSC has again released a notification stating that it is adding 7 more seats.

In December 2018, MPSC had opened registration of 342 seats in 11 categories. Accordingly, the prelims were conducted in February 2019. However, after the State government had asked to increase the number of seats in State civil services, MPSC had increased up to 424 at the beginning of this month.

Now again the State government has demanded an increase of seats. Thus, there has been an increase of seven seats making it 431 seats in 17 categories.
