Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez’s love anthem 'Tere Bina' is out now

Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez’s love anthem 'Tere Bina' is out now

When the lockdown was announced, Salman Khan, along with a few of his family members and close industry buddies, were at his Panvel farmhouse. And there’s nothing like spending your days amidst nature, lockdown or not.

So we are pretty sure that Jacqueline Fernandez, Waluscha De Sousa, Ayush Sharma and a few others have little or nothing to complain if they are spending their quarantine amidst all that greenery and of course in Bhai’s company.

In the past seven weeks, they also have been devising interesting ways to keep themselves productive and have also been creating content for the audience. Recently, Salman launched his music single Pyaar Karona that gives out a message of love, help and caring in the times of corona. Today, he has released his new single --- a romantic ballad titled Tere Bina.

An in-house production, it also stars the lovely Jacqueline Fernandez and the audience will love the duo’s chemistry. According to sources, the song has been readied with limited resources, following all the rules and regulations of the lockdown. The music video has been completely filmed at Salman’s Panvel farmhouse and captures the picturesque locales in and around. The actor has done it all --- from singing to acting and even directing the video without a team.

He took to his Instagram and posted, “Maine yeh gaana banaya, gaya, shoot kiya aur post kiya aap ke liye, ab aap bhi yeh gaana suno, gaao, aur aap ke swag mai shoot karo ghar pe, post karo, share karo, tag karo n enjoy karo... #TereBina.”

Talking about Tere Bina, Salman shared, “About seven weeks ago, when we came to the farm, we didn’t know we will be here under a lockdown. So we wanted to do things to keep ourselves busy. That's when we decided to do these songs. We launched Pyaar Karona and now, we are launching Tere Bina.”

The actor also reveals he had the song with him for ‘sometime’. “We had a friend at Galaxy when we were kids. His name was Ajju Bhatia and lives on the fourth floor. He keeps asking if I could sing the song for him. I keep on indulging and I have sung four songs for him. Tere Bina is one of those songs. It wasn’t fitting into a film of mine so we thought let’s release it now,” he further added.

Jacqueline shares, “I didn’t think we would be able to pull this off. We are used to shooting songs on a large stage with grand production costs. There are costumes, hair, make-up. All of a sudden, we find ourselves with a team of three people. For the first time, I was checking lighting and moving props around. It was a great experience and it taught us how to make the most of what we have.”

Both Salman and Jacqueline had no other help and they took up the challenge of doing everything themselves efficiently. From the make-up to the hair and even arranging the set, it was all done by the stars. In the song, Jacqueline has a natural look and Salman aces the broody, deep look.

Salman revealed that the song has been shot in the presence of just three people --- him, Jackie and the DOP. “It's been hot out here. We have taken four days to shoot the song. We shot between 5.30 pm and 6.30 /7 pm,” he says.
