Mohit Baghel, better known for his role as Amar Chaudhary junior who worked along Salman Khan in ‘Ready’ passes away at the age of 26 due to cancer.

Writer-Director Raaj Shaandilyaa broke the news on Twitter.  "Mohit, mere bhai itni jaldi kya thi jaane ki? Maine tujhse kahaa tha dekh tere diye saari industry ruk gayi hai. jaldi se theekh hoke aaja uske baad hi sab kaam shuru karenge. Tu bahot achi acting karta hai. Agli film ke set pe tera intezaar karunga.... aur tujhe aana hi padega. Om Sai Ram #cancer RIP." Raaj tweeted.

Raaj Shaandilyaa told PTI, “He is gone too soon. He has been undergoing treatment for cancer in AIIMS hospital in Delhi since six months. I spoke to him last on May 15 and that time he was okay, he had started recovering. He stayed with his parents and elder brother in Mathura. I learnt about his demise from a common friend, who said he passed away today morning at his residence.”

Raaj also said he wanted to cast him in Dream Girl (2019) but he was busy shooting for other films namely Milan Talkies and Bunty Aur Babli 2, due to which he couldn’t cast him in Dream Girl.

Meanwhile, Mohit has acted in films like Gali Gali Chor Hai and Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami.

Many celebrities from the film industry were shocked by Mohit’s demise.

Mohit’s co-actor in Jabariya Jodi, Sidharth Malhotra on his Twitter handle wrote, “Really shocked to hear this news.. Mohit was such a young, happy, funny & talented guy.. we just shot a whole film together! Upsetting news, my prayers with his family.”

His co-star in the same film, Parineeti Chopra also tweeted “One of the nicesttt people to work with! Happy, positive and motivated always. Love you Mohit. RIP,"

2020 will be remembered in the history of Bollywood as we have lost some of its brightest stars. Bollywood lost its two jewels Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor earlier this month.
