Mahesh Babu to play lead role in Rajamouli’s next film

In a recent interview, Rajamouli confirmed the news and shared, “There are no rumours. The fact is that I will direct Mahesh Babu and KL Narayana will produce it. This will be my next after RRR.”

After delivering a stellar performance in Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh Babu’s next project was announced on Saturday. He is set to collaborate with none other than Baahubali and RRR director SS Rajamouli.

For the last couple of months, there was a lot of buzz about a possible collaboration between Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli. In a recent interview, Rajamouli confirmed the news and shared, “There are no rumours. The fact is that I will direct Mahesh Babu and KL Narayana will produce it. This will be my next after RRR.”

The untitled movie will officially be announced next year and hit the floors in 2022. This is the first time that Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu are coming together. Needless to say, it will be a visual treat for film fanatics to see the biggest Telugu actor and the biggest Telugu director join hands for this project.

Taran Adarsh, a film trade analyst, also confirmed this news on Twitter.

 

 

Superstar Mahesh Babu has a fandom like no other not just in the south circuit but Pan India and the box office collections for all his movies are proof of the same.

Mahesh Babu’s last release Sarileru Neekevvaru had collected over Rs 200 crore at the box-office. Rajamouli is working on RRR which stars Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt.

The actor is currently making the most of the coronavirus lockdown. His actress wife Namrata Shirodkar has been uploading pictures of the star spending time with their children on her Instagram page.
