Ankita Lokhande was his girlfriend, his wife, his mother, his best friend: Sushant Singh Rajput's friend

In a heartfelt post, Sushant Singh Rajput's friend Sandip Ssingh addresses the late actor's ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande.

Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput's close friend Sandip Singh, in his recent social media post, has claimed that only Ankita could have saved Sushant. "They both were made for each other," he has said.

Sandip has been with Sushant and his family during the tough times they faced. Even after Sushant's death, he stood firmly with Sushant's family. In a recent Instagram post, Sandip has shed light on the relationship between Sushant and his ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande.

Sandip says, "Dear Ankita, with each passing day, one thought keeps haunting me over and over again. We could have tried even harder, we could've stopped him, we could've begged him! Even when you both separated, you only prayed for his happiness and success. Your love was pure. It was special. You still haven't removed his name from the nameplate of your house."

Remembering their old days Sandip says, "Even today, I believe that only you two were made for each other. I know that only you could've saved him. I wish you both got married as we dreamt. You could've saved him if he just let you be there. You were his girlfriend, his wife, his mother, his best friend forever."

Sushant became a popular face in the industry after he starred in Ekta Kapoor's 'Pavitra Rishta'. He dated Ankita for six years. Sushant made an entry to Bollywood with his movie 'Kai Po Che'. He was seen with Vani Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra in his next movie 'Shuddh Desi Romance'. He shot to fame when he played the role of Indian cricket team's former captain MS Dhoni in the movie 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'. The other movies he featured in were with Amir Khan starrer 'PK', 'Kedarnath' with Sara Ali Khan and his last one 'Chichore'.

Sushant's former manager Disha Salian also died on June 8. She had earlier worked for Bollywood celebrities like Aishwarya Rai, Bharti Singh and Varun Sharma. Mumbai police are now investigating if there is any link between the two incidents of death.
