Bollywood Actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai on Sunday.
Sushant entered the industry through Ekta Kapoor's TV serial Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. The Kai Po Che actor impressed Ekta Kapoor who was the producer of the show and booked his place as a lead actor in another daily named Pavitra Rishta. Tele-lovers enjoyed and loved the chemistry of Sushant and his co-star Ankita Lokhande.
Ankita expressed shock over the news of Sushant’s death. They also dated each other for a few years. When IndiaTV called up Ankita and told her about the death of Sushant, she was shocked and said ‘what’ before cutting the phone line. Sushant who played the character of Manav Deshmukh soon became the star actor on the television. And the rest is history. Recently, Ekta Kapoor shared this memory on her social media platform when the show finished 11 years.
The actor’s servant found his dead body at the house and informed the police. According to several reports, no suicide note has been found at his house. However, police have identified some medical reports and further investigating is on.
The 34-year-old was doing well professionally and was dating actor Rhea Chakraborty. The actor’s former manager Disha Salian also committed suicide on Monday. He had posted a heartwarming note after her death: “It’s such devastating news. My deepest condolences to Disha’s family and friends. May your soul rest in peace.”
