Buses went off Mumbai roads as over 33,000 employees of the city's civic transport undertaking, Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST), have been on an indefinite strike since midnight over their demands, including higher wages. The strike is expected to badly hit the city’s over 25 lakh commuters, including officegoers and students.
