Three Pune COVID-19 patients discharged after testing negative

So far, seven patients have also been discharged from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)-run Naidu Hospital after recovering from coronavirus.

PUNE: Three more COVID-19 patients were discharged from Pimpri Chinchwad after recovery. So far seven patients have also been discharged from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)-run Naidu Hospital after recovering from COVID-19.

However, the positive patients in the State increased to 159 as of Saturday morning, out of which twenty are from Pune. Fifteen patients were tested positive from Nagpur, and they were close contacts of other positive patients.

In Mumbai, an 85-year-old doctor, a suspect case of COVID-19, died on Friday at a private hospital. Two of his relatives recently came back from England. He had diabetes and a pacemaker too. The diagnosis was made at a private lab. Therefore, it is being verified said the officials. 

According to reports, the octogenarian’s surgeon son is believed to have been tested positive. The man’s grandson returned from the UK two weeks back and has reportedly tested positive.
