The collector appreciated the efforts taken by the people and how they are adhering to the directives from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Still, he said he was unhappy to see the presence of some people on the roads.

“It is good to see that 90 per cent of people are staying at home, but about 10 per cent are still seen on the roads. We must understand, that to beat COVID-19, we will have to stay at our homes. Similarly, when people are stepping out to buy essential things, we must maintain a distance of six feet from other persons,” added Ram.

Speaking on the sale of fuel, the collector appealed to the petrol pump owners to provide fuel to the people. “Police officials are keeping a tab of people stepping out and allowing those who are involved in the supply of essential goods and services to come out.
