Food delivery cos assure customers

PUNE: Food delivery services Zomato and Swiggy are reassuring their customers by conveying that the delivery partners are trained to follow the best practices of personal hygiene given the outbreak of coronavirus. 

Customers have been encouraged to check the hygiene ratings of the restaurants before ordering the food. The delivery partners have also been asked to self-quarantine immediately if they show any symptoms.

If people wish to avoid contact with delivery partners, they can ask them to leave the food at the door, as long as it’s paid for online.
