NICE Group To Deepen Its Product Offerings

Pune: With the need for businesses to adapt to rapid changes in business environment, Barry Cooper, Enterprise Group President NICE, said that going ahead, businesses will have to use data analytics  and other technologies in coming future to support their business. 

NICE, which is in business since 1986, caters to more than 40,000 global customers including 90 of the Fortune 100 companies, offers expertise in the field of enterprise group. Its product actimize is a solution for fighting financial crimes and other services. 

Speaking on future trends, Barry said, “In the field of customer experience, there will be more changes in next five years when compared to last 15 years. Our customers’ clients are millennials, who are used to easy, automated and personalised solutions. Customers will have to provide self-service solutions as people like helping themselves and, hence, use of robotics, automation, artificial intelligence will increase.”

Speaking on the maturity of product offerings to its customers, Barry said that in last 30 years, the products have developed with deeper functionalities.

“For instance, our workforce management solution now has the solution of agent swapping. Similarly, with data protection laws coming into the picture, we have added capabilities of information protection to our solutions,” added Barry.

Speaking on growth of NICE Pune centre, Vijay Gondi, Vice President, Head of NICE India GTC (Global Talent Center), who joined NICE four years back when it started its operations in Pune, said that in last four years, the company has grown from zero employees to 1,200, which explains the growth of the company.

“Similarly, our stock prices in last four years have increased from 60 USD to 150 USD,” added Vijay. Speaking on advantages of cloud technologies, Barry said that the technology has brought a paradigm change in the way business works.

“Cloud has helped us in providing better and fast services to our customers. Earlier it would take some time for us to provide latest releases of our software to customers but now it is not so. It happens quite fast,” added Barry, who is positive about rapid expansion of NICE Pune talent pool in coming years. 

Barry said that as Pune provides a right mix of talent in terms of leaders, industry veterans, fresh graduates, the company decided to expand in the city and now comprises the product, support and corporate function team.
