Bharat Forge signs 3 MoUs in defence and aerospace

Pune: The city-based Kalyani Group’s Bharat Forge Limited has signed three memorandums of understanding (MoU) with different companies at the Aero India 2019 in Bengaluru. 

The MoU with Navratna defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) will enable both companies to make joint efforts to seize the opportunities available in the global markets for export of defence products/systems produced by the individual companies or jointly developed and produced by the two companies, leveraging on the Export Promotion Policy of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

Rajinder Singh Bhatia, President & CEO (Defence & Aerospace), Bharat Forge and Anandi Ramalingam, Director (Marketing), BEL, signed the MoU documents on Thursday.

The second Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Bharat Forge and AMG Partners, USA. This new collaboration is formed to invest in new and advanced technologies in potential spheres of the defence and aerospace domain. Both companies will work to identify global advanced manufacturing technologies for the purpose of joint development, licensing and world-class manufacturing operations in India.

Kalyani Group and Belcan, LLC, on Wednesday, announced a partnership to provide highly advanced technological product and service offerings in defence, aerospace, and other technical segments in India. 

The companies will work together in the design and development of helicopter engines and transmission systems in defence and aerospace, as well as collaborate on advanced manufacturing practices and digital manufacturing and Internet of Things solutions.
