What after GoT

What after GoT

We bet you had a more relaxed sleep this Monday because you did not have to wake up early to watch an interesting episode of Game of Thrones and then  had to rush through your morning chores.

While getting over your GoT addiction, you might be going through withdrawal symptoms, but we make life a little easier for you by asking a few hardcore GoT fans what they will be watching the rest of this summer.

Pune-based student Arpita Agarwal says that now that exams are over and Mondays are relatively free, she will watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine, a sitcom about detectives tackling issues like gender bias, sexuality, homophobia, police, love whilst making you laugh till you pee. Agarwal explains that her elder sister got her hooked onto it and she has been obsessed with it ever since.

Shruti Mittal, a student of architecture, points out that since she has a few days left for her summer vacations to get over and there are no more episodes of GoT to watch, she has started watching This Is Us, a show that follows the family of the Pearsons who want you to change your life’s purpose to make sure you are happy. “It makes me cry and laugh and want to start my own family like no other. I love Randall and relate so much to Kevin.”

Harsh Bansal, says that he very well knows what he wants to binge watch now — The Good Place. Ask him why and he says, “I watched a few episodes of the show before I became a loyal fan of GoT and I have watched Chidi transform from being a self-centred person to a do-gooder.” He says that he relates to Chidi’s journey and the show has given him a lot to ponder over whilst maintaining a humorous atmosphere. “And it does not just stop there, the show educates in a funny way and I can’t wait to see where it goes,” he says.
