Sula Vineyards has launched wine-in-a-can Dia Sparkler in two variants of red and white wine. A local product, Dia is fondly remembered by the wine-drinkers as the first variety to tingle their tastebuds. This sweet, bubbly and refreshing drink needs no mixers, corkscrews or swirling to enjoy.
This is the perfect fit for someone who likes the taste of wine but prefers tall drinks. While you can sip it straight out of the can itself, the best way to enjoy it is by pouring it into a tall glass and adding a few cubes of ice — something you’d never even dream of doing with wine. To add a citrusy twist, which works well with the white variety, you can squeeze a few drops of lime or just leave a wedge in the drink.
The drink is definitely more bubbly than regular wine as it is a sparkler. It contains eight percent alcohol, so if you’re thinking this is pretty and convenient drink for amateurs, the joke’s on you as a can of beer has on average 4.8 percent alcohol content. The red and white can be mixed to make interesting cocktails as well. You can buy individual 330 ml cans or a six pack.
