Say bye-bye to bad hair days

Say bye-bye to bad hair days

Rain, sun, dust — your hair goes through a lot every day. For many, a perfect hair day seems like a distant dream. Your hair could feel dry, rough and frizzy or your scalp may get oily and greasy, and completely ruin your look and your mood. However, Agnes Chen National, technical head of Streax Professional, shares some quick fixes that will boost your mood and restore your confidence, making you feel like there’s no bad hair day ever!

Apply some serum
If your hair has little moisture, pump up the levels with some hair potion or hair serum making it frizz-free and more manageable. The trick here is to add serum to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair, to fix the dryness and roughness.

Get beautiful shiny (non-greasy)
Spray your hair with a hair shine spray, this will add incredible shine and fragrance to your otherwise dry and limp hair.

Play it up
When things are not going as planned, it’s time to go crazy with your hair. Place your hair upside down, brush it at the roots in the opposite direction to help create body and volume. Tease your roots to add volume and you will see the greasiness fade away.

Braid it or tail it
Since your hair has decided not to settle, why work against its wishes? Opt for the messy look that camouflages the frizz and roughness. Choose from a high ponytail with a fashionable messy pouffe to hide the flyways or jump right into the signature braid that will hold the hair in its place.

Style with accessories
Get your hands-on hair accessories like hair bands, scarves or hairpins that will up your glamour game to take the attention off your unruly hair and make you look your stylish best.

Keep straighteners and heat curls at bay
When your hair is already in trouble do not make it worse by using heat and chemicals. Leave your hair straightener in the closet and opt for heatless curls or waves.

Try these quick ways to change your bad hair day to a good one, and keep loving your crowning glory!
