After her performance in Pakhi Tyrewala’s Hindi short film Kajal, Salony Luthra will be seen in her next Hollywood film titled Turned out. The film will span across three continents — Asia, North America as well as South America. She will share screen with Hollywood actor George Katt and Anya Monzikova. The Sarabham fame actress will be seen playing a Latino Spanish girl in the film.
Sources say, “As Kajal premiered at New York Festival, the director Ritu Singh Pande was blown by her performance and was keen to work with her. They were impressed by her look and versatile personality. The director was very particular about her casting but after looking at Salony’s performance, she was taken aback.”
This is Salony’s second Hollywood project. In her first film, Forbidden, she had to undergo tremendous training with the same trainer who trained Brad Pitt and Al Pacino, for a high octane action sequence. Salony, who is a popular face in the South Indian film industry, has also won the best actress award at Bangalore Shorts Film Festival earlier this year.
